I think it looks good. Its a pounded metal look.

Im getting really close to finishing.

Very nice.... That bottom bolt on the elbow is a PITA isn't it? I had to shorten my bolt to make it work.

Do you have any info on that type of powder coat.... Brand, where you bought it and what type of gun are you using?

Step by Step Powder Coating

1. Gather parts that need PC.

2. Put in car.

3. Drive to PC specialist

4. Pick color...Very Time Consuming

5. Recieve call "All Done"

6. Pay

7. POST PICS ON STANGNET.

Looks great! I like the valvecovers. Wish they made fabricated valvecovers for us DOHC guys

Did the same thing to my upper intake, brackets, alt. case and elbow. WELL worth it in how it cleans up the car and ease to keep clean.

Wow man that looks great....I wonder how that color would work with my current exterior color combo

I think I should also be looking at fabbed VC's as well....they really sharpen up and engine bay

d00d that is so clean that at first glance it looked like a well done model.

:OT: where did you get your valve covers from? they look really nice.

keep up the good job your car is coming together very nicely.

That looks really awesome. It's nice to see some different finishes on parts than the norm. Keep us posted on progress.

I believe that powdercoat color is Silver Vein. We used to use it a lot at work. My mounting plate for my Zex kit looks just like it.

LOL! Thats pretty much what I know about it. Actually just waiting on some stuff to come back from PC myself. BTW looks sweet!

thanks guys. its been slow with this project but its coming together nicely for me..

i got those fab VCs from summit. i think they were lik 200 bucks or so.

it ran me 175 that included stripping it , cleaning the mating surfaces

also got the bracket done. and he cut off the smog mounts.
