If you mean the plenum, it takes about 5-10 minutes depending on your skill to get it off.

The casting is horrible, so it'll still look like ass when your done. Shiny ass, but ass nonetheless.

I have been polishing for hourssss this is crazy anyone got any ideas to help me out on polishing this intake. The reason I took it off was because the paint had already came off of it and it looked really bad. I looks better now but does anyone got any ideas on how to speed up the process I have tried dremel and drill bits sanding,, any ideas?????????

Paint? There is no paint on it. It's an awful casting. To make it look halfway decent, you'll need to fill the entire exterior of it with epoxy and sand that back down.

Hey thanks for that web page, but I finished up on it because I have to use the car for work. Didn't get all the little pitts out everywhere, but let me wow, I am really impressed didn't think it would look this good but it can still look better. Long time to do, be easier to dip in chrome but I llike it like it is for now thanx guys
