Intake spacer?

Do these do anything? There is one on Steeda that I like and if I bought this along with their Air Intake, would I feel anything when I'm driving? Or if I put the spacer on before the intake would I feel anything? I will be buying both of these if the spacer will do anything useful, if not, I am only going to get the air intake they have for 215$ or something along those lines. Any help or experiances would be greatly appreciated.

Buy a Plenum like an Accufab, C&L, Ieven saw in a mag that MAC makes one now. The spacer will do close to nothing. I think the MAC plenum with a MAC 70mm throtle body was only $229+ shipping. No dyno proof on the MAC but will definatly be better than the spacer by far.

I have an intake spacer and personally dont think it was anymore of a waste than buying a plenum with one already built in. Personally, I think buying most aftermarket plenums and throttle bodies are not going to yield much of any gains over porting and polishing your stock upper intake and throttle body. However, I guess a new plenum gives that "new look" under the hood and they are already ported and polished so that gives you the advantage of not having to do it yourself. In the end, I guess its up to you if you're willing to spend the money. Ide personally just port and polish my stock stuff and save myself the money for something better like gears and suspension work.

I didn't notice crap from the intake spacer, just $25 more poor.

LOL. Dont expect to notice anything from just an "intake spacer" by itself. I noticed a slight difference with mine, however, I also ported and polished my throttle body and upper intake at the same time. It should also be noted I felt a "slight difference" but nothing huge.
