Im currently running a stock 302 bored and stroked to 347 with afr 185 58cc heads, edelbrock performer rpm2 intakes, professional products 75mm throttle body, 75mm mass air, ford racing valve covers, and edelbrock 70mm adapter elbow. When i try and dry fit the throttle body and elbow on intake i have a issues with the ford racing valve covers oil fill tube. Compared to stock valve covers the oil fill tube is more towards the center of valve cover and will run into the throttle body. I checked and those were it fact the efi covers. At this point i am stumped on what to do. Someone told me to switch over to the 93 style throttle body so i can avoid the 70mm elbow. I can either port intake and elbow to match 75mm throttle body and change valve covers or switch over to 93. I was wondering which would be easier in the long run and what would be involved in switching to 93 style.
