Ok guys, I got my motor ALL back together. go to start the car and hear a popping. notice the intake is a little loose so i tighten down a bolt a little more and broke a chunk of the upper intake right off i have ford racing valve covers which are obviously taller then stock ones and and the stock intake hits on them even with a 1/2in spacer. Now i need a new intake. which is the best one? i weas thinking the holley systemax? i have TFS stage 1 cam and gt 40 heads and exhaust. will it clear these valve covers with a 1in spacer? any help please! thanks! :SNSign:

My TFS intake clears my Tall(squared off, not rounded) TFS Valve covers. I also had to oblong the throttle body cable mount to get it to clear. Also consider an Edelbrock intake. The Holley might be too much for your heads.
