i noticed that ford has used different interior trim codes and even different names for their interior colors (such as the change from "black" to "ebony". i am painting my 90's interior black or ebony in the case of my '90. so is there a difference at all in color or shade between the black interiors throughout the years? or is black is black is black and that's it?
LRS paint code for ebony is "J", as show the mustang by the numbers book also. i currently have a titanium interior (door tag code DA). so why is the ebony paint code simply "J"? i thought ford paint codes were two characters long(DA, AB, ML, U7, an so on)?
am i confused or just dumb?
