I'm getting ready for a deep clean, I'm using meiguirs quick detail on the interior plastic. If I have any type of scratch, the detailer makes it look way, and I mean way worse. I'm glad I tested it on a scratch in the trunk. What all are you using to clean the interior plastic? I had this happen with my truck, it came back with all the scratches and marks in the dash worse.
Also what all have you used to replace the floor mats, I still have the stock ones. Man, is the carpet cheap!
Thanks,
Doc

I also use the Meguires interior stuff. Just make sure you get the excess off. There's not much you can do to hide the scrathes. Maybe try some plasticx in a test area and see if that helps.

The mats come pretty darn clean if you use a pressure washer on them. Otherwise CJ Pony Parts, Ninosport, and American Muscle all sell replacements.

my problem is that this stuff brings the scratches OUT. I had this happen with two other cars. I will just stick with soap and water for now. I'd just like it to look as good as it can.
Hey, do you know a father and son from Davenport, they own a bullet fastback and an 02 gt? Brian is the son and Ron is the Dad.
thanks for you reply,
Doc

Give the PlasticX a shot. I haven't tried it on interior stuff, but it works good on light lenses and such. I have some in the garage. I might try it on mine later and report back.

I don't know them personally. But if I were to see the cars, I'm sure I'd recognize them.
