Hey guys I am having my 1988 gt, delievered in 2 weeks, just want to know what your opinions on my interior are, should I replace those carpets and seats or get a good profesional interior shampoo done, just worried about the moisture causing rust on the floors, also the kick panels are those speakers or just a panel, and where can I get the replacement. Ive added a picture so you can see dont know if you can zoom into the kick panels. Sorry im new to this my last mustang was a 2000 gt and didnt need any repairs or freshining up

The thing about a shampoo is it will remove dirt and stains to a point, but not fading. Shampoo it, and if it still looks shabby to you, order carpet. And, seat covers if you like.

I removed my carpet, went to local car wash, and power washed it. I took it home, layed it in sun and let it air dry. Other option is new carpet.

The kick panels are just panels. eBay is your best shot. 87-89 is the year range you want...from a hardtop only. Convertible panels are different

Wow, that has to be the longest delivery time on a new car in history.
