Interior mounting locations for MSD box

Got me, just where its always been. I dont like them on the engine because of heat, personally feel it shortens the life of them but maybe not. Its been there 20 yrs, its staying. heh

Heat makes sense, might be less electrical interference too. I was thinking of just putting it back in the stock location but now that you mention it I might put it on the shock tower.

I added something a little something extra today....I'm a little uncertain of how well it will take away heat, but I like the mounting the best.

I wired in a switch to turn off the light if it gets annoying.

Can you tell how I did it?

I know this is old, but what did you mount it to?
