I'm planning to convert my interior to a black interior and it' s looking like I'll need to ppaint some of the components, any suggestions on an interior paint?

I'm happy with the results that I got out of the NPD interior paint and dye.
I changed my interior color from red to black and it really wasn't that bad.
The vinyl dye worked great on the headliner, back seat, and dash pad.

Well, I plan to replace the soft parts altogether (headliner which has a rip down one seam anyhow, dashpad is warped, upholstery is currently cloth and I'd like leather, et cetera.) The big deal is things like quarter panels which are currently in good shape. No need to replace them right? Then there is the dash board itself which I don't feel a need to replace, except for the instrument bezel and such like that which are definitely worn out (in fac the instrument bezel looks like someone botched a paint job on it already.

That's a krylon spray I'm assuming ( I'm fairly ignorant about paint.) Does it work well on plastics?
Only advice I can give is to scuff up the old paint a little bit to help the new black stuff stick better. And take your time, maybe have several projects going at once and keep coming back to paint things every 30 minutes or so. The spray paint will require many many many layers of paint to be applied, DO NOT rush this or you will get drips running down your parts

I even restored my grimmy old Sun visors that had red overspray on them from the Previous Owner's paint juob by lightly misting them and then quickly wiping them off again with a paper towel

What you will find out as soon as you make all your panels look good is where the other stuff doesn't...so right after I did the panels I ended up replacing all the carpet on my fold down seat:
Did all that with 2.5 cans of Rattle Can Spray Krylon.
The trick to doing the panels is too take them out of the car, clean them up really well. I had no flaking paint on mine so I cleaned them down with simple green real good and then let dry. Then I sprayed 4 VERY thin coats of the paint. Its VERY easy to put it on too heavy and fill in the graining on the interior parts so it is important to use many thin coats. Basically you spray it dry (so that the part doesn't even look wet when you are done a coat)...let dry and then come back.
Wow! That's probably some of the better information I've heard on the subject! Thanks!!! When the project is done ( probably a few months off for monetary reasons, but I like to plan projects like this out ) I'll post pictures.
Your interior looks basically how i was picturing mine would look when done. Albeit, with a little darker carpet (i like dark carpet as certain messes that come with being a daily driver can be cleaned up and no stains to worry about.
I'll probably do the entire interior ( carpet, upholstery et all ) simultaneously, so I can have paint drying and such.
My visor will likely not be painted over as they need to be replaced me thinks.

Anyone here want to go on the record regarding the "correct" interior color for metal surfaces in a deluxe black interior for 1967? I have heard semi-gloss black and also there is a crowd that claims it is a VERY dark gunmetal grey. NPD and some other parts houses sell the grey paint.
