I’m trying to get my interior trim all buttoned up after the body shop removed it all. I have the aftermarket gauge pillar and having a hard time getting it back into its place. Do I have to remove the instrument cluster bezel for extra room to get it installed? Do I install the original one first then the gauge pillar?

I had my stock A pillar trim on and off without removing the bezel. It should rest where that speaker is and I believe the speaker grille holds it in place. The top slides into the trim that runs across the top of the windshield. It's just help in with clips so you can pull it down to slide the top of the pillar in.

I actually think it needs to tuck in behind the dash. Unscrew it, angle it down and manuver the curved part behind the edge of the dash.
I could be wrong. It's been a decade or so some i've installed one of those.

No, it had been installed over the original pillar for years. I just have to figure out how to maneuver it back into its place. When trying to get it back in, it keeps hitting on the bezel trim. I should have some time this weekend to work on it.

Be careful with the bezel. I removed mine to install some LED's and it crumbled. I never removed it before and all the plastic was dry rotted.

It's not hard to remove just stressful. LMR makes a repair kit which just replaced the two upper mount points with metal brackets. Good luck!
I finally got the gauge pillar on. But now my boost gauge doesn’t work if I seat it flush into the pod. If I pull it out as in the picture it works. Thinking the vacuum line might be kinked when seated all the way in. Might have to pull the pillar back off some and check the line. Plus I can’t get my speaker grill back on with the gauge pillar installed. Going to try again tomorrow.
You should be able to get hold of the vac line going to the gauge as it runs down the pillar.

There’s a way to get the speaker grill on/off with the a-pillar still on. I did it when I was replacing my door to body weatherstripping (before I realized I didn’t need to remove the speaker grill). To get it back on you may need to loosen the a-pillar, but otherwise I got mine back on by putting it back on at a weird angle, if I recall maybe like 45 degree angle down, towards the cluster then like twisting it in? Just fiddle with it, it should pop in.
You need to remove your factory A pillar trim and install that gauge pillar in its place. That is why your boost gauge isn't fitting properly. I have the gauge pod you add over the factory A pillar trim.
When you remove the factory trim the gauge pod will now fit (like factory) and have room for your wiring and tubing down the pillar.
Going to see if I can chase the vac line to pull on it. Not sure how it’s routed behind the dash or where it runs too.
