If you do this, I guarantee you'll hear the word rice a lot.

There's nothing wrong with giving the interior some underglow, you just have to do it cleanly. Like the spoiler on the mustang. Some like it, some don't. But no one's calling it rice, like an aluminum wing on a civic. Is the OEM spoiler even functional? But because it looks clean and doesn't jump off of the car, it's acceptable. I would do a soft glow (even if you have to tint the bulbs), to the point where a person might not even notice it right away. If done well, I think it looks pretty damn good. Just my opinion...

yeah a friend of mine has it in his car, but he has a civic but i really like the look of it, its not over the top or ne thing and im not gonna go overboard with it im not gonna be wrapping the stearing wheel in neon or ne thing. Im currently in negotiation for the Screaming yellow 06 GT so i was thinking some blue neon just under the dash by the pedals and on the passenger side and maybe under the seats depending on how bright it looks under the dash.

you might want to go with red. Blue/yellow isn't a very powerful color combo. But red/yellow works very well. Don't go blacklight, it'll show off all the dirt on your carpets!

I've put 2 under the dash, I put 2 in the trunk as well. I think it looks good, I wouldn't reccomend under the dash AND the seats though, that might be too bright. I have to wait until it gets dark to take some pics, but I'll post the pics soon.

I like the look of that as well as long as it is not overdone. But if you start putting them under the car then i will call it rice. I had a blue one like the pics above in my 96GT and enjoyed it. Might have to go with some blue ones again in the 06 vista that is getting built net week but that will come after any preformance mods I want first. I like the idea of them in the trunk since ford still doesnt know how to put a light back there.

Being a bit 'old-school' (or at least old, hehe) part of me has a negative knee-jerk reaction to it, but it really does look kind of cool. Could I go as far to say that about any glow looks cool as long as it is not over-done and does not inhibit the safety of the ride?

hehe, I solemly swear there will be no "under the car" neon.

But thanks for the comments. The trunk ones are 2, 12" and i have a 6" under the driver and passenger dash. Both are EUROLITE. The dash ones were a real pain in the ass to hook up. I had to run the wires though to the headlights, so that they come on only when my lights go on and the trunk ones were a piece of cake, just hooked them up to the "light" that's there already.
