will a 65 interior kit fit into a 66 coupe? im just kind of curious cuz i really want to have a white interior instead of a parchment. if not what are the major diffrences in the two of them? i just got my first 66 mustang coupe three days ago and i am already tearing it down to restore it so far all ive done is put new leaf springs in it but in the next few months i will be painting and re doing the interior of the car. This is my new daily driver and yes gas prices will suck but hey ITS TOTALLY WORTH IT

No white interior made for a 66'? Hmmmm Perhaps try a different supplier.

As a general question, yes everything will interchange just fine EXCEPT the dash pad. Technically it fits too, but the 66' dash has extra holes punched in the metal part of the dash because the pad is shaped different around the radio and at the outer ends. Extra hold down nuts are installed in those holes. The late 65' door handles are the same as the 66' so if you like them, no changes are necessary as they will work fine with either panel.

The door panels and seat covers have a different pattern between the different years, but both will still easily interchange. Personally, I always preferred the 66' patterns.
