I was driving around today and all of sudden my car started to sputter or stumble going down the interstate. It is kinda random but at the same time it became more regular as I drove on. I have recently replaced the distributor cap and rotor, TFI and ignition coil. I dont know if this could be a plug or plug wire going bad causing a misfire? Any and all ideas welcome.

It is most notable between 1500 and 2000, but i also notice a bit around 1000 when just revving up while it was in park.

disconnected the MAF today and drove around a bit to see if that was acting up. More or less I am lost to what is going on. I dont think it is the fuel pump as I have heard that on fords they usually dont slowly go out, they either work or they dont. I have all day to kill if anyone has any ideas.

Got my car scoped today. Def got an ignition/electrical problem going on. Tried a swap on the ignition module, to see if the one i put in a few months ago crapped out, no dice there. I dont know much about the distributor so if something is going wrong with that I have no idea. I am open to suggestions about that. I have read a few things about ppl having issues with the pip sensor, but I dont know.

Also the idea for the pcm was thrown out there?

Ended up being the pip sensor. Guess I should have had that one a bit higher on the list.
