Just a quick question. My 87 5.0 notch (original owner,53k miles and has lead a very easy life) every once in a while hangs up in neutral and is hard to put into any gear. It will then go back to 100% normal shifting in the blink of an eye and shift normally for an extended period of time. Happened the first time last October than was fine until this past week when it did the same hung in neutral thing on Sunday as I was putting it back into the garage, after going to a cruise night. Checked it out on Monday after work and it was back to 100% normal during the hour ride that I took. It has been fine on several drives so far this year. Stock T5 with a Hurst shifter that has been in there for over 10 years. Clutch is also stock and still works/grabs perfectly. Maybe a cable issue?
