ok, so ive been reading previous posts on this matter. my 05 roush 5speed does this ever since i got it, i fist noticed it in the drive through and it was kind of quiet so i was like "ok thats a weird noise but its probably normal". well anyways, it seems to have gotten slightly louder and is really buggin!infact, i traveled like 400m last month and when i got to my destination and was at idle the noise was definitely louder, even my sister noticed the noise. after that it seems to have went back to being quieter. the noise is intermittent at idle and and seems to go away with acceleration. doesnt seem like ive lost any power. the a/c and defroster is definitely not on. since i got the car i have put on an xpipe and cai with a tune. i was wondering if anybody came up with a solution to this problem? and if i take my car into ford should i take off my tune and cai first. thats not a big deal but i really dont want to take the x pipe off. is ford gonna give me a bunch of bs about that xpipe? thanks
