My Fox BBK 1 3/4 LT's should be here anyday, I was wondering for you guys that have done this, is their any tips that will make my life easier?
I have completely deleted the EGR so no need to mention that. I will be running a BBK x-pipe for 94-95 car, so I'm sure I'll have to break the mallot out a time or two..lol.

Should be a nice gain I've been running 1 5/8 shorties.

This should be an interesting install. I think you are gonna need the mallet to make the headers fit around the steering shaft.

How come you didnt get a mid pipe for a fox?

Apparently my ex-husband made that mistake.

1 and 5/8 primaries would probably suit your motor better than 1 and 3/4s. The bigger primaries will slow down the flow too much. What kind of heads are you using?

nothing that cant be easily fixed by someone who knows their way around an exhaust system...

Ok.....I'd have to disagree big time there. I'm running a H/C/I stroker/blower combo. Stage 3 Edlebrock heads that flow 255/200 @ .500
How could you possibly think a 1 5/8 header would suit a blower/stroker combo better than a 1 3/4?

I agree man. No way a 500 rwhp car is gonna benifit from 1-5/8 headers over 1-3/4 LOL

LOL Viper...I'm expecting some cussing already

Yellow, yeah its a blower car it needs all the exhaust flow help it can get, and like you said at 500+ rwhp/rwtq a 1 5/8 isn't gonna be suiting my motor better than a 1 3/4 period.

I am trying to put these headers on my car now and gave up on um. Passenger side fit fine, Driver side hits clutch fork big time. I dinged it in 1/2 inch and it still hits. I dont know what to do besides get ones made for my car and not something else

Weird, some people say it works, others it doesn't.
I hear if you have a 3550 it will clear, our bellhousing/fork are a lil diff.

Can you shim the motor mount on that side..would that help?

I couldnt even the the motor mout bolts lose on the side. the header fits now but when you push the cluch in it drags on the header and doesnt want to disengage when you let off it. I wish they worker because the car has been down for 8 weeks now trying to get these to fit. Sucks drivin a jeep cheroke on the nice sunny days. Dont realy hace the money yet to get the right headers.

Get that sucker loose, I heard shimming helps.
Is it only hitting the fork...what about the bellhousing?
Did you leave the cover off?
What size headers
