When we changed to the Bullitt pedals, we noticed the carpet was coming off by the accelerator ... just superglued it back!

Hmmm, I had a similar problem in my '95 turned out as I drove the floor mat would come loose and work its way under the throttle and somehow would occasionally hold the throttle down. Scary as hell when your coming up to a red light and your car continues to accelerate even though you are laying into the brakes. I solved it by throwing my floor mats out the window. Now the only thing that holds my throttle open is my lead weighted foot

Hmmm wonder if we could use this to get outta a ticket. "no officer the car just took off on it's own!"............ hey wait I did but it was the throttle linkage on my 68 camaro.
