When we changed to the Bullitt pedals, we noticed the carpet was coming off by the accelerator ... just superglued it back!

Hmmm, I had a similar problem in my '95 turned out as I drove the floor mat would come loose and work its way under the throttle and somehow would occasionally hold the throttle down. Scary as hell when your coming up to a red light and your car continues to accelerate even though you are laying into the brakes. I solved it by throwing my floor mats out the window. Now the only thing that holds my throttle open is my lead weighted foot
