ok guys im getting tired of this issue and i am not gonna install my nitrous until i get this problem resolved.......the car stalls when warm....cold, its fine once its up to 180* i get a squealing noise...ive tried to pinpoint it and at first and it sounded like it was an accessory.....my water pump started going out so i thought that was it....yesterday i installed a new GMB hipo pump and a new pioneer sfi balancer ( old one was a stocker). well i still get the squealing and it still stalls....here is what it does....once it gets warm, the squealing starts. then the car starts to die at idle or at stops...it will die even if you cruise to a stop on neutral. when its dying, the squealing gets a little louder....i have to tap the gas pedal to keep it on....today i drove it a bit and it sounded like the noise was coming from under the shfter area but i think it was just loud enough for me to hear it from there.....car has a new iac, new distributor, new wp like stated and new balancer as well, new alternator, new idle pulley....what do you guys think? does it sound like its one of the accessories seizing on me? all accessories are new except power steering ( i dont run a/c nor smog) what can cause this? especially being triggered only when its warm? thanks in advance guys

Do you have access to a stethoscope? Might help in pin pointing the source. PS and tensioner sound like the only two you haven't changed. The stalling at temp as you noted could be something seizing up as it gets hotter due to friction to the point of seizing. Is it squealing all the time when hot, correct? Manual or auto. Thinking it may be something in the clutch assembly like the throwout bearing or the pilot bearing if the sound is coming from the shifter area.

The car is manual, and last time I checked I took off the belt and still had the squeal....oh yeah its a 5 speed...I was thinking it could be my pilot bearing..since I didint change it when I did my clutch...what do guys think?

Pilot bearing is a definate possibility, however, if it seized up the only problem you'd have is not beging able to shift into any gears. I had this happed once and it was like my clutch had gone bad, but I knew better because it was brand new. Sure enough, all the needle bearings fell out of the bearing itself.

But the car trying to shut down could be the fuel pump going bye bye, as well as the noise.

there is a Idle adder function vs ECT that adds 72 rpms to the idle speed below 160 degrees , after that between 160-180 that goes down to 0 rpms added after it gets to that temp ....

look at your EGR recirculation unit as well. Its a black plastic or metal rectangular looking part, that has two small vacuum lines going to it. I had an issue like this on my explorer, and found that to be the cause

you stated the dizzy is new.. just to be sure is it NEW or re-maned stocker from Auto Zone. sometimes the pip is replaced but not the bushings. when my last dizzy went out it started squeeling. with the engine running, i could lean on it from side to side to get it to stop but as soon as i let off the squeel came back.

ok guys, i thought i had the problem resolved but i guess not....its not the water pump, balancer, or pulleys. i replaced the dizzy and even returned it for another one just to make sure....i finally thought it was my pilot bearing....i replaced my throwout bearing as well just to keep both fresh...both were bad and i felt a big difference with tranny (probably picked up some horsies from it)just seems to glide and be smooth....before it would kind of feel like it was dragging down the motor....rpms would drag down once you would let go of the gas pedal....it fixed that problem but i still have my inicial issue....it seems like the whining noise is coming on earlier than before...im guessing its getting worse....like stated before, at idle or when in neutral, it stalls.....the stall seems like its more like drag...its like something is dragging my motor down when the temps get up (around 160-195*) this is killing me....i have to get this resolved before this thurs ( dyno re tune) or else i have to cancel...cant be running my car like this.....any help would be appreciated guys....anybody else ever had this issue?

Perhaps you could get a descent camera and get us a video of the noise.

here you go guys....both vids are of the problem...its hard to pinpoint the problem but it seems like its coming from either the front end or the rear of the intake ( possibly tranny?)
i hope someone can identify the problem.....

Why don't you just pull the belt off and run it without the belt for a minute. it won't hurt anything and it'll tell you if it is one of your accessories.

+1

It sounds like a bearing then belt squeal. If the sound is still there you can eliminate every thing on the front end as a source.
