This is a reply i have to a question about an IRS i am selling from a 03 Cobra...and i figured it would be good if anyone else wants to see how easy it is.This is in my 84 SVO....i also swapped the Drive shaft flange so our normal shaft will bolt to the 03 IRS

i have a 01 Cobra IRS in the rear i used Maximum motorsports urethane bushings, and the lower cross brace...it honestly took me 1.5hrs by my self to install this rear....i have the rear brakets youll need and you have to drill 8 holes 4 on each side for the brakets thats it....if your car has Quad shock mounts then you only have to drill 4 holes....what i did was i raised the car..put my wheels on the IRS and rolled it under the car...i jacked the front mounts into the slot where the lower Arms mount to the frame...put in th ebolts athen jacked up the rear...i marled the holes to drill then lowered the rear and drilled them (my car had no Quads and needed 8 holes).....i bolted the brackets to the rear frame lifted the rear in place and installed those bolts.....thats it...but then onto the brakes...i installed a T fitting ran a line to each side of the car and made Stainless braided to the Calipers...now i have more time in the rest as i have 4Piston Calipers in the rear and i have the extra braces for the Diff and mounts...i belive it was 5" long bolts i used for the mounts the are drilled into the trunk area but you can even see the heads even with the carpet out they went under the plastic on the sides................Hal
