Is .040 over too much on a 5.0L ?

Is .040 over too much on a 5.0L ? Will it cause any issues ? This motor will see 6500 rpm and nitrous ocassionally. Thanks.

should be okay. i've heard .060 isn't smart on a 302. With nitrous, the block will probably split down the mains before you have any problems with the cylinder bores.

i think the max you can go on a 302 is .060 over so you should be ok.
