You could get a reproduction one for less than that. Try Texas Mustang.

yeah I've even seen cobra kits for cheaper. maybe not after shipping but still it is new.

Someone had one on ebay last week I'm not sure if it has ended yet but it had zero bids and starting bid was 25.00

AFAIK, nobody makes an '85-'86 GT front bumper cover as a repro. Gotta get one used. Depending on the shape and the prep needed to put it on your car, that could be high, but then again it could be reasonable....depends on how often you see a good '85-'86 GT cover for sale.

Ha, try finding one. The 85 GT bumpers are getting very hard to come by, since most of them get wiped out in front end collisions before they even make it to the wrecker. Yeah, I’ve found a pile of non-GT bumper covers....but there's something extra cool about the factory mounted fog lights in the GT versions.

That being said, yes, $245.00 is pretty high for a used ’85 GT bumper, but I wouldn’t bet on getting one a lot cheaper than that. That is unless the person selling it was clueless as to it’s value.
