Is a 05 GT 5spd faster than a 99 cobra????

I am in the market for either an 99 Cobra or an 05 gt and was wondering if the 05 performs better?

Only one sure way to determine that for yourself => drive both cars.

Testing had the 99 Cobra at 13.9 and the '05 GT at 13.5. Different testers and conditions, but both pro's. It'd probably be a driver's race.

I'ld go with the 05 not based on speed just it being a more comfortable car and better built.

I have a buddy who has a 99 Cobra and I have a 05 Gt. We use to race all the time and I would get him by a car or so. We have about the same racing exp.

With the 99 Cobra you have to make sure that it has the power fix. Which replaced the intake manifold and reflashed the ecu.

same here ive raced two cobras a 99 and a 01 beat both by a car, it was a close race each time but it really came down to drivers (not to gloat but im a better driver than my friends), id cast my vote with the 05 much more comfortable and better built.

Save a few more pennies and get an 03 or 04 Cobra, then there will be NO question
