is a cam at this time worth the time to take the engine apart to get it in. is the pain to power gain enough to do it. Or should i just wait untill i get heads and intake?

Thank you!

The cam isnt a restriction at this point for you, so i would wait until you upgrade the heads/intake to do the cam. A intake would be good for now...or pullies, or gears, or a lot of other stuff but i dont know what ya got already....no sig with mods.

i would say to wait until you get heads and intake because you gotta yank out the whole engine to dis-assemble it and the cam is all the way towards the bottom. it would be a great addition though but adding power adders would be like gears, cold air intake, underdrive pulleys, aluminum driveshaft, etc. those are all pretty simple bolt-ons that add decent power for there easiness to install

Cam can easily be done in car. Just gotta take out the radiator and condensor and there is enough room. And i dont think it would be a great addition with stock heads...and the intake really chokes it off. The stock cam and cobra cams are actually pretty decent i think..especially with like a 1.7 rocker. But like we have said, there are other places that need the upgrades more than the cam. And the cost/power gained ratio will be higher with other parts.
