If you ported and polished the Stock Plenum would you see a better gain than if you bought a Dragon Plenum? Of course i would buy a 70mm Throttle Body to go with the ported plenum.

Better- doubt it.
almost as good and cheaper - yes

I read a review awhile back a stock plenum P&P picks up about 5rwhp. Most upper plenums are 5-10rwhp.
Now if you've ever had a stock plenum off and in your hands you can see the bumps and ridges and the necking down and the convulated curves. Plus it will give you something to do over a weekend.
BTW if you get kinda aggresive with it you can open it up to accept a 75mm TB.

the answer is , no. The Accufab will give the most hp and tq. Only 4-7 hp gain with any of the plenums.

No it won't help much, but other than your time, it's a free mod.

Well i believe anything better than stock is just that, better. It may not be as good as a Accufab but it will be better than stock. And also I am all about not letting anyone know my mods, so if i ported the stock upper everyone would think it was stock.
