Is an 86 5.0 mpfi intake worth anything?

I can get one for under $50 for the entire thing, is it even worth installing?

I have a CFI (TBI) 85 ltd that I'm planning on making a drag racer out of. I guess that'd be a useless baby step towards mid 12s, wouldn't it? Or is there some power potential there by porting it out? I know the mpfi chevy intakes of the same era can support over 300 hp/400 tq

Should I pass up that deal?

eh, it is if you dont have enough money to get an aftermarket one. its gonna be hard runnin 12's with it, even if it is ported to chit.
