Is it ok if the fan does not cover the entire radiator?

It's fine. That's how mine is and the car sees 115*F ambient temps. You'll see a lot of aftermarket fan shrouds don't come close to covering the entire coil. As long as a decent portion is covered, you should be fine bud.
