is it possible to change just the x pipe portion to an h pipe

i currently have a catted x and want an h or prochamber, is it possible for me to order an offroad h pipe and just use the rear section and replace the x with an h

You'd have to replace the whole mid-pipe (x) with the H-pipe. So you'd have to get a catted H-pipe. You could cut and weld but it may cause problems later on.

why wouldn't you want to replace the whole x-pipe? seems like more work cutting off the h and welding it on
