This is a long story Summit sold me the wrong timing chain and it broke on my mustang two days after the instilation. They sold me a timing chain from a 1965 mustang vs a 1990 mustang timing chain. After the timing chain broke it was replaced with the correct timing chain . After the timing chain was replaced my car started making a loud ticking noise and soon I found out that I had bent 8 pushrods. Those were replaced and then I started getting getting a bad vibration in my car It would not rev smoothly past 3000 rpms. The vibration only hapens above 3000 rpms. When I accelerate it is almost like my timing is to advanced but it is at 14 degrees with 91 octain Also, in the morning when I start the car it sounds like their is no oil in the car but after The Idle comes down it sounds normal. Or when the car has been sitting for a while mabye several hours or something it will also sound like their is no oil in the car at start up. Anothrer strang thing is that My car has been drinking large amounts of water I have no leaks but the water disapeares. The temperature is also higher. I have an e303 cam and trickflow intake manifold with stock heads? What could be causing all my problems any help would be great....

Thanks

bent push rods...?? the valve HAS to stop moving and the cam and lifters keep pushing to Bend push rods!! in other words.. the valves have hit the pistons and stoped... bending the push rods!! Pull the heads!!! With a stock valve size the piston notch will some times be correct where the valve doesnt BEND ... just takes the hit and stacks the valve train!! Pull the heads!!

Sorry but you NEED to pull the heads!! coolant loss and running hot with NO LEAKS means the engine is burning the water ( coolant)... pull the heads... cool??

Just me......................
