Is it true?!?!? please read!

Oh well, I have my stock H-pipe in the garage. When it comes time to test, I'll throw it back on.
Most of you are prolly too young to remember when they had the testing here in MI. It wasn't that hard to pass back then, so maybe the parameters will be a bit loose, like they were before.
I haven't read the article, so Mossberg, could you tell us if they only plan on testing residents of the Tri-County area like they did in the past? That was a major bone of contention back then. You could live just inside of St. Clair County, do all your driving in Macomb County, and not have to pass emissions. What a rip!
Please advise. Thanks!

Alot of the non emission states, that have failed the latest EPA ozone/pollution study are going to be hurting.

Think it's bad for Michigan? In California, they are talking about revoking the 30 year non-smog program. Then looking into the removal of these cars from the road. The bad old days of the mid 80's are coming back again.

We have started that this year(East Baton Rouge Parish in Louisiana and 5 parishes surrounding). I'm still trying to get the damn check engine light off on my Expedition so I can get inspected. The thing that is screwed up about it is the EPA even admits that stringent emissions test here won't do a damn bit of good because there are not the number of cars on the road like Houston and LA. It's the damn heart of Cancer Alley here with all of the chemical plants that are the problem. :bang:
