It seems like it takes 94-95 5.0's so much to just get into the 13's. I already have exhaust but i was wondering where ill be at with 4:10's, drag radials, and a shifter?? Just wondering

You'll probably be a hell of alot closer than you started off with...

Check out the following link as it really helped me decide what parts to go with and a "more or less" estimate as far as the horsepower and times that I wanted. Check it out.

Here's a guy with 3.73's, pulleys as the basic mods and he hit the 13's...

Pulleys, sticky drag radials, Triax/Pro50/MGW shifter, offroad h-pipe, cheap Ebay CAI, MSD Blaster coil, and 3.73's are the only mods I have that will help with 1/4 times. If you have stock springs/shocks you will be fine (my steeda springs kill my launch due to no weight transfer, so the tokico's are only really getting me back to stock).

Launch at 3k rpm, hope the tires hold, bang the gears like you hate your car, and you should have no problem running 13's.

killercanary was telling me he hit 13.8's way back in the day when he was first starting out with no weight reduction(its a vert remember), and nothing but (from the best i can remember) an intake, gears, exhaust, pulleys, and DR's... maybe an aftermarket clutch too? but none the less, not much for 13.8's in a vert...

I would love for my car to get out of the 15s... I know part of it is my driving but it really just seemed slow for my mods..

One thing to keep in tmind is that altitude and weather make a HUGE difference with out cars. I drive to Pheonix where it's alot lower than here and the thing pulls to 5k no problem. Or in San Diego, it pulls awsome and looses traction. I bet my best of 15.2 stock would be more like 14.9 in San Diego or in Pheonix on a cool night.

i'm just wondering while we're on the subject... i know cooler denser air is better for our cars to run with... but as far as altitude goes... the lower altitudes would produce this denser air right? i go to a track in lebanon valley new york and am just guessing this is a relatively good track as far as air quality goes(cooler and denser) if anyone can correct me go for it... or if anyone can vouch that lebanon is a good track compared to any others any of you might have been at that would be cool. im just wondering if my times are a good comparison to others' times or if they could be improved at a diff track...
