Is polishing exhaust and intake side a bad idea assembled?

Just like the title says. I just got my PTL 180's in today and I want to do some minor clean up, and polish the intake and exhaust sides.

The head assembled off or on the engine?

Either way if you can manage in those tight places then power to you - put the valve themselves will be in the way........

the idea of tons of small metal shavings flying throughout my engine bay. sounds like a bad idea.

could somehow get in/through the filter.. into your engine it goes.
may not kill it. but hey, its doesnt fcking help

I'd say clean up any casting flash & shape the guide boss's for least work best airflow... just don't screw up the valve seats
