Ohh sure, you get me on the coil cover, but you don't say a word about the missing timing belt cover, messy ignition wires or dangling heater hoses.
I even have a timing cover I painted dark blue that looks awsome, but havn't installed it. Seems everytime I put it on, I end up pulling it back off to change the cam timing or whatnot.
The radiator is from a Ford Exploder and the intercooler is a small NPR. The explorer radiator is identical to the ranger, and this particular radiator came from a 4.0. It is aluminum with a very high fin density. I am only so so pleased with the cooling though. Seems the airflow wants to around the sides of the radiator instead of through it. I suppose I should build a shroud to prevent that, but until then, the electric fan will be working overtime. It still cools fine on the highway, but in town driving gets a little warmer now. Might also have something to do with the fact that the system now holds over 1/2 gallon less water. Weight savings, right?
You'll have to talk to Stinger for the couplers. They seem to be a radiator hose type, and I beleive he got them from NAPA. Somewhere, I'm sure he has the part numbers or they could be looked up on turboford.

Bwahahaahahahahahahaah!! Thats the funniest thing I have heard all night!!!!


Anyway, yeah Stinger has (had?) them on his website.
And Brian- I had the same issue in the now gone SVO. even with the big ass fan the air was not directed thru the radiator and in town it was running really hot. I fabbed up some side shrouds out of aluminum and shot them black. Most did not even know they were there, and it helped a lot in town.

Yep, Brian and I made a deal on the IC and IC tubing...I made the tubing and gave him the IC, he gave me an IC, all was well.

As stated, all the couplers are from NAPA...cheaper and stronger than the silicone "turbo hose" you see everywhere. It also allows you to use the cheaper worm gear clamps instead of the high dollar clamps required with silicone.

Geesh I must be blind. how about that....

and I totally missed it. grrr
I am not that old, but every day I spend in this army, i feel that much older. specially my joints. LOL

Any idea how much those run?
i didnt think there was such a thing as cheap IC tubing. lol.

The straight hose is about 12 bux a foot, bends are 12-22 bux each...most come with plenty of "extra" to cut off the ends and use for straights as well though.
