Is the magnapack cat-back worth it??

hey guys i will be buying my exhaust system pretty soon, and i am gonna go with the magnapack catback, but my question is, is it worth it? how do you like them?

i like it alot. my friend has it on his 02 gt and he also likes it very much. i would say it is worth the money.

I had it on my old 2002 GT with a magnaflow catted xpipe and it was awesome.

Its deffinatly worth it. Magnaflow makes the best systems out there.

Had a magnaflow catylitic x pipe and cat back on my car before the change and loved it. Excellent quality and sound.

I have the x-pipe only, and i'm pleased with it. top quality all stainless.. I've heard nothing but good about the packs.....

I just got back from my install of both Catted-X and PackBack. My friend and I ditched work (no one there anyway) and went to his garage. Took us a long time because of the passenger side manifold bolt. In any event, I gotta give it two ! SOTP meter is nice, too, though I've never seen a dyno for just that combo.


Wow. A novel! Sorry. Just can't get this grin off my face!

Is it worth it? its actually cheaper then some other systems and is a great peice, I have the cat back and catted X, they are both great. Although if I were to do it all over again, I would have waited on the mid-pipe, and got long tubes and a shorty mid pipe. Definately Magnaflow though.

They are awesome. All I have is the magnapacks, and now I'm paranoid to touch the rest of the exhaust because I don't want to lose/modify this sound.

Yeah i have the Magnapacks with a Bassani O/R X and I love the way it sounds. If you can go with the O/R pipe. its easy to switch with the stock mid pipe for emissions and the O/R sounds soo sweet with the packs!

As far as loudness goes, is the O/R X-pipe A LOT louder than just the packs?

I'll be getting an X someday......but it will probably be with CATS

I love my magnapacks. I have an O/R X-Pipe with them and the sound they make is insane. Of course it's pretty loud, but I like loud.
I say get the packs, you'll like them

Is it worth it? Is it worth that litle roar when you start it up? Is is worth turning heads before you get there? Is it worth frightening people even though you have no other mods? Is it worth having people go "What you got in that thing?". Is it worth those huge gleaming chrome tips? Is it worth having it boom off the walls when your cruising in the city? Is it worth drowning everyone out? Is it worth it in a tunnel? Is it worth the grin on your buddies face who's stuck in four-door hell? Is it worth your dad saying "I remember when more cars sounded like this."? Is it worth letting people know you are pissed at them without ever touching the horn? Yeah, its worth it.

That's the best way to put it...I have Flows but I wish I had gone the magna pack route...
