Currently i have a magnaflow cat-back and im in the market to replace the stock H. But is the MAC prochamber really worth the $200. Plus ill need to get a set of MIL's on top of that. Im lookin for a deep growl/rhaspy sound and a obnocious (sp) WOT sound.......

Not IMO. I have it, don't get me wrong it makes power, but I think that the money would be better spent on a magnaflow or Dr. Gas X pipe that are made out of quality metal. My PC is cheap steal with a protective coating. The coating wore off all the welds and is rusting. It has done well for me, but if I had to do it again I would have bought something different.

what slider has said is unfortunatly true. My Prochamber does make noticeble power above 3500RPM, but quality of material is some what disappointment to me. I have coated with header paint(few coats), and so far everywhere else except weld is rust free. Weld developped miner serface rust. Nothing bad, but considering I don't drive my car in rain, I must say that rust is disappointing. But sound it makes with Magnaflow is something else tho. i even get complment from Chevy and Pontiac monkeys. I have my PC off right now and have stock H on, to get my car serviced, and let me tell you, magnaflow makes our car sound mean. But you just wait until you put PC on. Very unique, yet unmistakeblely Mustang. I had BBK X pipe on befor, and hated it. I would recommend PC to everyone, except one lives in northern region where they drive car in winter

I have the prochamber as well and if it means anything, I would go with Dr. gas or the Magnaflow x-pipe instead. Love the sound, makes good power, really dont care about the rust b/c it would take many many many years for it to cause any damage. There are plenty of guys selling their PC at various forums so you can pick one up cheap. Heck if you had LT's, then I would consider selling you mine

I love mine, it was worth it to me because of the sound alone. I love it, and noticed a great gain above 3000 RPM so I like it. If you want every last hp, then get something else. Just my 2 cents.

The sound is absolutely amazing, the performance, well, expect to lose some low end torque and gain a lot of hp above 3 grand. I miss the torque, but love the sound. Car just seems to rev more freely now, but maybe thats just me.

IMO NO. Tim at Modular Powerhouse dyno tested a Pro Chamber on a GT to find that it offers almost no performance gains. As for sound, I think an ordinary O/R H-pipe sound much better. So....NO

I have the Mac offroad h-pipe with 40 series flowmasters. Sounds awsome and is really loud. I put some high temp paint on it and have had no problems with rust at all. Only $120 too!

Wow, I'd have totally disagree with the popular opinions here. I love mine and by the sound, I am guessing that most here have the older PC and not the newer style with the heavier black coating.

That is my set up. I love the sound, quiet at idle, screaming like a v on prom night when you get up on it.
