Is the v6 t5 the same as the v8 t5?

Also can i put a fox body t5 in my 95 gt? i heard all u have to do is swap to the longer input shaft?

v6 t-5 internals are weaker.....I know that for sure.

I think swapping the shafts on the pre 94 t-5's would do it, or a fox bell housing would work too.

I believe the 99+ v6 t5's are stronger then ours.

94-98 V6 Trannies are only 15-20 FT LBs weaker. Same Rating as the Foxbody T5's. The 99-04 T5 is rated around 300-330Ft Lbs but there you'll have to either change tailshaft housing or run a SpeedCal for the Magnetic Speedo setup they use. Your Choice. I Ran the 95 T5 out of my V6 and it never gave me any fits with 300+ RWHP

Does the V-6 T-5 bolt up to the GT bellhousing without changing anything? Im trying to find a way to change my tranny without removing the headers.
