from the tank i noticed one if the lines is skinnier than the other.. does it matter wat way they are hooked up to the fuel rails?
the thing is i had to customize some stuff haha.. so the return is smaller?? wat fuel rail does the return connect to?
if they werent connected properly would the car still run??

Both of them connect to the passenger side fuel rail. But, the connection that is pointing towards the front of the car is the return line. The engine will not run correctly if they are hooked up backwards.jstang209 said:the thing is i had to customize some stuff haha.. so the return is smaller?? wat fuel rail does the return connect to?

i did a 5.0 swap on my car.. my fuel line come up on the driver side.. so i to use some hose to make it go to the passenger side, so they can meet the fuel rails..
on 5.0's the fuel lines run up on the pass side.. on the 4cyl cars they come up on the driver side of the car.. so i ran fuel line from the driverside to the pass side so it can meet up with the fuel rails.. i just dont know if i connected the right line to the right rail..

I had to do the same thing when I did my 4-banger swap. When I get a chance to break away from work, I'll tell you which line goes to which fitting on the fuel rail.
