what fits what is the bell housing the same for cleavland and 385series big blocks, i have a c6 tranny that has a ribbed looking bell housing and one that i know come off a 460 big block that has a smooth bell housing and i seen a c6 that fit a small block and it had the ribbed bell housing. so i'm confused, i bought a 460 motor and c6 but i think the tranny might be a small block tranny !
