does anyone make a replacement shifter for this thing, I can't stand the stock stick, i always have trouble when I really try to go through the gears. Those moments are far and few in between, but just the same it is irritating

really looking for the entire thing, like the tri-ax

I think that only changes the height doesn't it? I want to replace the whole thing. That is the only one I have seen

that is the pic on the website, but i think it is for the previous generation stangs. they must use a generic pic for all shifters.

ive got the steeda sport shifter in my car. the throws are a whole lot shorter...but you still get a bit of flex from the stock mounts. im lookin to get a shifter brace from php or powerhouse. hopefully thatll get rid of the flex the comes with stock shifter. oh and the steeda is to say the least a pain to install. id recommend doin this chore on a lift. but all around its a good piece to settle for until a complete shifter comes out.

the Hurst competition plus shifter is out and mine is on it's way at this very moment. I will be installing it next week along with some suspension mods and headers.

I'll be sure to report how it performs.
