I'm looking to upgrade my front/back brakes on my 95GT when I change out my tires/wheels. Is this a good deal for brakes or should I look somewhere else? Also, does anyone know of a good How-To on brake install?

www.buyfordracing.com

the mach-1 kit is the same as cobra. only the caliper isnt painted and dosent say cobra. uses the same 13" brembo rotors. $309

http://www.buyfordracing.com/shop/product_info.php?products_id=594

they also sell a rear kit. the cobras used the same calipers as the gt/v6 only they had a different bracket that moved it out farther to accept the larger rotors. also the pads were a bit thinner for the vented rotors. $175

http://www.buyfordracing.com/shop/product_info.php?products_id=477

total would probably be around 500 shipped.

That doesn't seem like a bad price for what your getting. I wonder if the rotors are stock ones?? If they are, then they should be Brembo's????

If you go to BuyFordRacing.com and add everything up, it will come out to $703 plus you still have to buy pads and the caliper hardware kit.

Does that include brake pads and rear calipers though?

Baer Racing has a kit for the rear's where you can use the stock pads and caliper, and upgrade to 13'' rotors. I believe it is called Eradi-Speed kit...then upgarde your fronts to 13'', like the Mach 1/Cobra, and you should be set.
