i was wondering if this just tells you if you have trouble codes or if it can clear them too

I have that same one. Works like a charm. I think there's something in there about clearing them too...not sure. I usually just unplug the battery and step on the brakes a few times.

i have one.it can pull codes,clear codes,and perform some tests.good tool to have,comes in handy.

You know what's 1,000x cheaper than a code reader and does the same thing? A jumper wire and the check engine light. Don't have a check engine light? A $2 test lamp or cheap analog multimeter works too.
