Is this a good deal?

I have a chance to snag a 96 cobra engine with trans wiring harness and computer for $2700. It has 80,000 miles on it, but would rebuild it before I do anything with it. To me it sounds like a good deal. What do you guys think?

Sounds Decent. It all depends on the past use, but since u r rebuilding it, it would be good. i am gonna do the same thing as soon as i graduate college in a year. Just curious, what type of rebuild kit r u gonna use and r u gonna put any forged hardware in?
