I found these 351W heads on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8033153112
Would these be a good deal at $150? Would I need to get anything done to them? My engine is completely stock except for an Edelbrock performer intake, Holley 600, soon to be tri-ys, and being bored .030 over, well the PO said it was, we don't know for sure.
Or would these be a better deal: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...&rd=1&item=8034058286&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT and this cam to match: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...&rd=1&item=8034219286&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT
Do I really need a different cam if all I put on is heads?

I know there have been a lot of cam and head questions lately and I've looked through most of the previous threads using the search function, but I wanted to ask specifically on these heads because they end soon. Ok I'm done. Thanks!

The D0OE heads are the better of the two auctions you posted. They already have big valves, are rebuilt, and $400 is less than most like that go for. The others are open chamber smog heads and are definitely not a performance part.

lightly ported DOOE heads are a good, medium performance upgrade over stock. You will lost some compression over stock heads, however, just be aware.

If you get them, make sure you remove the Thermactor bumps before installation.

Thanks. How about these ones? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...&rd=1&item=8033525568&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT
What will losing a little bit of compression do? Like performance wise or?
