One is opening up the lower valance (like the fiberglass Shelby "R" style, or Terilingua with the cutout) that allows much more air flow over the radiator.
What is the Terilingua thing your talking about here.
Also have general question about the griffin, does it take a 16 lb or 7 lb pressure cap? I`m looking at billetspecialties website.
Use the 16lbs cap.
If you look at a '67 version of the "Terlingua Racing" team car, you'll notice they cut the licence plate recessed area out in order to get more air over the lower portion of the radiator. Not sure I'd want to highlight it with yellow paint, but the cut out is a fairly inexpensive way to get more air.
