Is this a good turbo kit to buy?

That turbo kit has come up on here and on Corral before. Apparently it has some fitment issues, but if you are handy with a welder it provides the general plumbing and the intercooler you need to make a good turbo kit at a reasonable price. The turbo itself is questionable for use. Not sure what they use now, but the old one was a Chinese turbocharger. If you are running it on a stock motor you couldn't care less about it, it's a reasonable risk. If you have a better motor with quality parts, probably not such a good idea. The turbocharger is upstream of your engine, so when that chinese turbocharger scatters, it will most likely severely damage the engine. So, if you want to run that on a nice engine, nothing on that kit with the exception of the turbocharger can do any real damage, just be a hassle if it's low quality. Just buy it with the expectation of buying a better quality turbocharger, waste gate and blow off valve.
