Is this bad?? *Coolant Leak*

My PI intake that I installed back in may has sprung a leak somewhere around the thermo housing....I havn't pinpointed where the leak is coming from exactly but it's been doing it for almost a week......I have been driving with no problems other than a coolant light being on.......

Is this bad for my car to have coolant leaking like this?? it just boils on the head....I am not certain how much is leaking out...I have only added about a half gallon of water since it started leaking.....no signs of overheating at all...

My dillemma is I am selling my car..and don't really want to deal with the trouble of fixing it...I would rather take a hit on the price and have someone else take care of it...

basically is this affecting anything by having coolant run loose around my head and what not boiling off.....?? am I going to cause any damage to anything else.....I figure as long as my car doesn't overheat I am not really hurting anything.....

any ideas on a band aid fix for now?

I just got done looking at it a little closer and it seems like its coming from right under the thermostat plenum......so maybe the o-ring is bad??

Here is another question....

is the coolant plenum piece different for the 99+? because I think I reused my 98GT one on the PI intake....I am assuming they are the same......it didn't leak for 6 months if it's not.....just a though

Might not be a bad idea to take the thermostat housing off and check to see if the o-ring looks Ok. When you put it back on, it's a good idea to put a bit of oil on the mounting bolt threads, then alternately tighten each bolt a little at a time until you reach 15 ft lbs. And, Yup, they're the same.
