Is this bad? Would you buy it?

These photo's are what would consern me, given that the frame had that repair. That drivers side doesn't look straight. It might just need alignment, but I'd let a frame guy tell me so. $500 isn't bad if it is straight, but I'd check that first.

He won't budge on price already tried. He said there is a body shop close to him that he could take it to but there swampped with cars. I'm just worried it might be his buddy and he will just say "yeah looks good"

If your serious about buying it, pay to have it towed to the body shop of your choosing or pay a body guy to go take a look, otherwise walk away.

The only way I would buy that car is to replace the shoddy front end work. It could definatly be fixed and re done correctly and be a really nice car. Just pplllease don't put the car together with the aprons looking like that. Thats a very very wrong way to repair a front end. And look at the kink in the frame rail in front of the shock tower. If you hit someone, having the frame rail butt welded together with no backing plates welded in for strength, the frame rail will break right off at the weld.

Buy it part it and make a profit. around here those Pony wheels would go for 200

so 500 - 200 = 300

the hood probably 200
300 - 200 = 100

trunk lid if its good 100
now youre even

60 at least for LX tails
front and rear bumpers 50 or more each
doors 50 each if they are straight
front fenders straight? 50 each
Now you have 860 and you havent parted the k member or the rear or the glass.
Now my numbers may be a little off based on where you are but then you'll have more $ to get what you want.
