This would have been good info when you first and subsequently described the problem too. Your earlier description(s) made it sound as if you had ONLY a tachometer indication problem (thus the suggestions you got in response to your question). Indication only problems differ like night and day when full blown ignition system problems. Try and include as many symptoms as you can when you post a problem.
