quick little vid of my car (bout 1 meg) of a hissing noise that happens after i shut the car off. take a listen and see if this is normal.

no, but my other friend said it has to do with the AC. something inline or dealing with evap but i have no clue what hes talking about.

I vote for AC....mine hisses and this is normal its the ac system high pressure side bleeding down.(or at least that was the dealer tech said

its the stock cold air intake. my did this soon as i took off my cai to trade it in.

A dealer tech said that???


It's the water from the A/C leaking out of the evap box and falling down onto the exhaust. On the Mustang, the drain hole for condensation just happens to be located over the exhaust. It drips out all the time but you only hear it when the car is off.

That Sound is FINE.....I hear that to SOMETIMES after driving even though my AC was off the whole time. Its just the car "SWEATING" have u ever notice water dripping from under the car? thats fine

mine does it also after installing the cold air intake. i think it sounds pretty cool.
